Let me explain how the first set of videos I made came about.
Additional Mathematics GCSE was one of the last summer examinations giving time for revision before the exam. However early in the 1990’s the examination was moved to the start of the examination period. Teaching all topics required in one year for this examination was always a challenge and now to include a period of revision almost impossible. So idea of revision videos was born. The videos were based on the Irish GCSE Additional Mathematics examination. The order of the lessons following the order of the chapters in the textbook. Students were encouraged to borrow the videos, for home viewing, as topics were taught and for revision nearer to the exam. Students found the videos very helpful for both learning and revision. The videos were available on VHS video. They have now been converted with a Sharp DV-RW260 VHS Video to DVD to play on a computer or DVD player.
(If there are any problems playing the DVD’s money will be refunded in full.)
Many topics covered are also of value to both AS and A level Mathematics and Physics students.
All questions used can be viewed to see if they are topics required by the student. |
